UKELA is the leading membership organisation for anyone interested in environmental law. Its aim is to improve understanding and awareness of environmental law - to make the law work for a better environment.
UKELA was established in 1988 and will be celebrating our 30th anniversary in 2018.
UKELA’s charitable objects include promoting, for the benefit of the public generally, the enhancement and conservation of the environment in the UK and advancing the education of the public in all matters relating to the development, teaching, application and practice of law relating to the environment.
UKELA encourages collaboration between those interested in environmental law, as well as advising and commenting on relevant issues.
