Following extensive research with its members, the Society for Education and Training (SET), the membership body dedicated to professionals working across further education, vocational teaching and training, has launched its new and refreshed brand identity.
This was in response to a desire by professionals that the identity of their membership body be more accurately portrayed and reflect the quality, values and diversity of their professional community. Alongside the new identity, a new Twitter profile @SocietyET has also been created to sit alongside SET’s popular Facebook page.
The new identity links with the ETF, the national workforce development body for the Further Education (FE) and Training sector, which manages SET as its professional membership arm.
Tim Weiss, Director of Membership for SET, said: “We are confident that - alongside our excellent membership benefits and professional development opportunities - this refreshed identity will make our current members feel more valued and proud to be part of SET. We also feel it will help to attract more individuals who will recognise the value of being part of a dedicated and professional community that supports their career and professional practice.
“We have listened closely to our members, about how they wanted the quality, values and diversity of who they are and what they do to be portrayed. They have therefore been instrumental in shaping the new identity of SET.”
