New President for ICSA's Governance Body

The Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators (ICSA) has appointed Frank Curtiss President of its United Kingdom, Republic of Ireland and Associated Territories ‘UKRIAT’ Division, effective 1 August 2015.

Mr Curtiss is Head of Corporate Governance at RPMI Railpen, the investment arm of the UK Railway Pension Funds, and has a wealth of experience in the governance field. He joined RPMI Railpen in 1990 and has been responsible for corporate governance from the perspective of a major institutional investor since 1997.

Frank is a Fellow of ICSA and a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants.

Speaking of his appointment, Frank said: “ICSA’s royal charter requires us to lead ‘effective governance and efficient administration of commerce, industry and public affairs’ and I look forward to working with Chief Executive Simon Osborne and the rest of his team in carrying out this important work. ICSA will be celebrating its 125th anniversary in 2016 and it is a great honour to be serving as President during this exciting time.”
