CIWEM Expertise in the News

With last month's record levels of rain causing flooding across the UK, the Chartered Institution of Water and Environmental Management (CIWEM) has been sharing their expertise in the news.

Working for the public benefit for a clean, green and sustainable world,  CIWEM is the only independent, chartered professional body and registered charity with an integrated approach to environmental, social and cultural issues.

The CIWEM Rivers & Coastal and Urban Drainage Groups have led the flooding debate, bringing expert views to discussions on natural flood management and river dredging.

We were pleased to hear that our PARN Member has had their views featured in mainstream media including on Sky, BBC Breakfast, BBC Radio 2, BBC Radio 4, and several local radio stations. Plus their expertise has also been quoted in The Guardian and BBC News.
