We are very pleased to announce that Vicky Wright, Deputy Chairman of the Royal National Lifeboat Institution, will be our Keynote Speaker at our Spring Conference 2014.
Join us on 14 May at our Managing Member Networks conference as we explore questions like:
- How can member networks be more beneficial to your members and organisation?
- What are the challenges in recruiting volunteers for running member networks?
- What are the current trends in financing and coordinating member networks?
Vicky is a human resources professional. Having spent her early career in employee relations she became a consultant and was a Partner at EY and Director at Towers Watson immediately before her ‘retirement’ in 2011.
She now combines being Deputy Chairman of the RNLI with a number of other roles including being a visiting professor at Middlesex University Business School and a non Executive Director of GPDF Limited and Pension Quality Mark Limited.
She is also a Past President of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development and received the award of their Gold Medal in 2010.
As our Keynote Speaker, Vicky will be presenting on 'RNLI: From Fundraisers to Lifesavers’, sharing how RNLI manages its volunteer networks and what she foresees the challenges ahead to be.
