STEP LAUNCHES NEW SERVICE FOR FAMILIES
STEP has announced the launch of www.advisingfamilies.org – a new public-facing website providing information to help families plan for their futures.
The new website features articles and information addressing common questions, from why you need to write a will, to how you can provide for vulnerable family members or what you need to think about if you are retiring abroad.
New articles will be added regularly and shared via dedicated social media channels: Twitter (
@advisingfamily) and Facebook (
www.facebook.com/AdvisingFamilies).
All the articles are written by TEPs, or Trust and Estate Practitioners, the designation given to full members of STEP.
Commenting on the launch of
www.advisingfamilies.org, STEP Chief Executive George Hodgson said: ‘We are proud to launch this new website to help families plan for their futures. People often need advice at momentous or difficult points in their lives – the birth of a child, marriage, divorce, the death or illness of a loved one, moving abroad, retiring – these can be emotional and confusing times. Through
www.advisingfamilies.org, STEP hopes to provide clarity about the sometimes complex issues that need to be considered and reassurance that there is help available if they need it.’
