A Long Term Strategy has been developed by the board and senior management to guide future direction for the Association.
A strategy for engagement of independent specialist or lay members was adopted by the board in 2016. Under this strategy, a number of independent specialists have been appointed to committees and to the board. Within this strategy, the Foundation is seeking to recruit a second Independent Specialist to join its Board of Trustees. As a Trustee the Independent Specialist would also be a co-opted member of the Council, which acts as an advisory group to the board.
