Topic - EDI in the Professional Body Membership: Data Collection and Promoting Awareness  

First Speaker- Martin Griffin, Co-Chair Equal Engineers Neurodiversity Network 

Embedding Equity, Diversity and Inclusion within Professional Bodies 

Martin will provide an introduction to what equity, diversity, and inclusion (EDI) is, and why these concepts are vital to consider from the attraction to the retention and the development of members of Professional Bodies. He will also present some self-awareness exercises to expose potential privilege and implicit bias.

We will also be joined by a second speaker- Mark Harrisson, Head of Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Transformation at The Chartered Institute of Building
Mark will be discussing all things data management and data collection, further details will be announced soon.

There will be a chance for Q&A with both speakers as well as group discussions.
