This is a fantastic opportunity to help your new staff or those who've
had a change in role to learn about what makes working for a
professional body different from working for private, public or other
third sector organisations.
It
usually takes six months to a year for staff who are new to the sector to
understand what professional bodies do and how they are distinctive from
private and public sector organisations.
This course uses blended learning, group work and video case studies of
real individuals working in the sector to give participants an opportunity to
compare their roles with others working elsewhere.
This day focuses on the 3 key themes:
- The composition of the sector
- Inside the professional body
- The future and sustainability of
professional bodies
