Professional Recruitment Guide
|
The Professional Recruitment Guide is an online resource developed by PARN and designed to help
employers of professional people to get the best person for the job, by
taking a fresh look at how to recruit new entrants at graduate level.
About the online guide
The online guide allows employers to:
- View a range of practices used at each stage of the recruitment process
- Understand practices that may disadvantage candidates who are not ‘typical’ for the profession
- Apply practices to your recruitment processes that meet your specific needs
- Read case studies from employers in various sectors and of different sizes
Employers can also find out about the latest trends and read about the
theory and background of fairer recruitment. There are links to key
legislation and signposts to further resources.

About the research
In March 2008, PARN was commissioned by the former Department of Innovation, Universities and Skills (DIUS) to develop the Professional Recruitment Guide.
