This Salary Survey examined 10 management specific staff roles within professional bodies in the UK including upper levels and the role of PA to the Chief Executive.
49 professional bodies responded; the number of responses received for staff roles surveyed is shown below:

The report consists of three sections:
- A summary of the results giving comparative information on salaries, salary changes, bonuses and benefits for the staff roles surveyed
- A brief profile of the responding organisations and a summary of the results for each staff role, including information on the function of the role, salary, bonuses and benefits provided and the postholder's background
- Detailed tables displaying survey results (overall, broken down by location of the head office and number of full time equivalent (FTE) staff)
Throughout, we have specifically addressed the issue of the difference in salaries, bonuses and benefits packages for those with London head offices compared with those with head offices elsewhere in the UK.
In addition, we have provided information in five categories of organisation size defined by the number of FTE employees in the organisation.
