Latest News › PARN publication investigates number of professionals in the UK undertaking CPD
|

PARN’s latest publication, Extent of CPD: The lifelong learning of millions, attempts to begin a general conversation about the importance of CPD by providing an indication of how widespread it is in the UK. Authors Andy Friedman and Natasha Afitska consider two questions:
• How many professionals are there in the UK?
• How many of them undertake CPD?
Estimating the number of professionals in the UK is a controversial and complex task. Estimating the number of professionals carrying out CPD is even more complex. PARN has carried out substantial research to make these estimates, however we regard this very much as a first attempt at it.
Extent of CPD: The lifelong learning of millions is the fourth in PARN's unique Snapshot series of A5 guides, which are aimed at providing you with easily accessible information in a basic and easily digestible format. Previous Snapshots include Responses to the Recession, Equality and Diversity and Governance.
