Since 2003, PARN has conducted triennial International Benchmarking Surveys for professional bodies, which focus on the following aspects of operations:
Our most recent survey ran from October 2012 until January 2013. In
return for completing our survey, respondents received a free copy of a new and improved benchmarking report
(view sample report) which compared their professional body to
all other professional bodies that completed the survey.

This time around, we also ran a prizedraw for respondents and have given away three free

History of the Survey
Launched in 2003 in the UK and Ireland, the survey gathered responses from 129 UK and 26 Irish professional bodies.
The survey was repeated in 2006 for the UK and Ireland, with the
addition of including Australia and Canada. It received submissions from
110 professional bodies in the UK, 75 in Canada, 49 in Australia and 21
in Ireland.
The 2009 survey had responses from 87 UK, 32 Canadian, 25 Australian and 11 Irish organisations.
2012 has been a great year, with 176 responses overall!
