Workshop Summary Available: Challenges
for Professional Bodies
At
our recent conference about Future-proofing
Your Professional Body on 10 November, delegates participated in a
workshop asking them to think about the future challenges for their own
organisations and its members, and then discuss the issues and their ideas in
groups.
The responses were collated
and grouped into themes for analysis by our research team and a summary is now
available for all PARN Members from the Members'
Area of our website.
As a taster of the summary -
here's what delegates thought the top three challenges for professional bodies
would be in the next five years:
- Maintaining
and growing their membership
- Engaging
with both current and potential members
- Introducing
new technology
